At Tamilvibes, the best moments happen when people connect through laughter, stories, and shared culture. Our games are designed to do exactly that: bring families, friends, and communities closer in a way that feels truly Tamil.
As the founding member, my journey has been deeply intertwined with creating these games. Born in Sri Lanka and raised in the UK, I spoke Tamil and English but Tamil has always felt like home. I’ve loved card games for as long as I can remember, especially how they bring people around a table, get everyone laughing, and keep the day going.
But every time I gathered with family or friends, I noticed something missing: all the games were in English. They were fun, but none of them reflected us.
Where was the language we grew up with? The humour we shared? The chaos of a real Tamil gathering? That’s when I decided to create something new that feels like home.

You might ask why some cards are in English if they are about Tamil. The answer is simple: as generations change, we have to adapt. Many of us in the global Tamil community speak a mix of Tamil and English every day.
Our games reflect that reality so no one feels left out, and everyone can be part of the fun. More than that, they’re a way to learn and engage with our culture.
Our goal isn’t to replace English, but to give Tamil a seat at the table again. And we want you to be part of this cultural journey.
